In my last post I wrote about a horrifying experience I had with Gmail, Mail.app(Leopard) and IMAP. As it turns out, if you have your mail client set up to store drafts on the Gmail server, it will save each copy as a new “sent” message. For Apple’s Mail.app, hit Command , to get to your preferences, click the IMAP account, and make sure this box is unticked:
